Meet Murphology host Kathy Murphy, AKA Murph. She lives in Iowa where the worlds longest and largest bicycle tour (RAGBRAI) occurs each year and she has participated in this 7 day tour since 1997. Iowa has a bit of everything to offer a cyclist: four seasons of weather, elevation and all types of terrain.
Murph is up for about any bike adventure and in addition to RAGBRAI she has participated in plenty of really cool events/rides:
She bikes almost daily all year long and although she will not disclose just how many bicycles she has, if you want to go for a ride with her, chances are high she has a bike for wherever you plan to go. In addition to podcasting, she leads a large bike club in Cedar Rapids who meet weekly, she is a cycling instructor for the League of American Bicyclists, and she leads rides from the local community center.
The Murphology Podcast is meant to be inspirational and entertaining. Each week we get to know new people and explore new destinations to ride your bike. As you listen to these adventures you may wonder, why haven’t I done that yet?
